MentorU Information Session & Training

MentorU Information Session & Training

Overview

Join us for an information session to learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters' MentorU program!

Make a BIG difference this school year!

More than 30 local high school students are waiting for a caring adult mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters' MentorU program, and YOU could be the person who helps change a young person's future.

Join us for a casual information session to learn what MentorU is all about and how you can make a lasting impact. Mentor training is included during the session, making it easy to complete a key step in the volunteer process in a single visit.

During this session, you'll:

  • Learn more about the MentorU program and volunteer experience
  • Complete your mentor training
  • Meet other prospective mentors
  • Ask questions and connect with BBBS staff
  • Take the next step toward becoming a mentor

MentorU is a School-Based Mentoring program that partners with two local school districts to support high school students. This isn't a tutoring program; it's about building meaningful relationships that help students gain confidence, stay on track for graduation, set goals, and prepare for their future.

Light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is available in our employee lot next to the building.
