Mission: Children’s Network coordinates preventative programs and services through collaboration and engagement with community and County partners to strengthen and promote child, family, and community well-being.Vision: Children’s Network envisions positive outcomes for children and families in San Bernardino County. This is achieved through active and engaged collaborations of County and community partners, relevant training opportunities for service providers, and promoting public awareness and shared understanding of risk factors of child abuse and neglect.

Lunch &amp; Learn virtual presentation is facilitated by Doreen Ivery from Children’s Network and a representative partner agency of the Mentoring Task Force via Webex.Thinking about mentoring a youth in your community but you don’t know where to start? One in three young people are growing up without a mentor. This is the “mentoring gap” in San Bernardino County. For young people who face a variety of risk factors that could lead them to become disconnected from school and work, the effects of mentoring is linked to significant positive outcomes. In this presentation, participants will have the opportunity to:<ul><li>Hear an overview of the Mentoring Task Force. </li><li>Receive program information and resources from local youth mentoring programs.</li><li> Accept the “call to action” by becoming a mentor!</li></ul>Join us on-line with your lunch or snack and learn about mentoring opportunities in our community.For questions, interpretation services, or requests for disability-related accommodations, free of charge, call (909) 383-9677 (dial 7-1-1 for TTY users).
