<h3>Mentor Match Workshop</h3> Are you a new or aspiring farmer looking for guidance and support? Join us for the Mentor Match Workshop and connect with experienced farmers in Southern Maryland. <h3>What to Expect</h3> This workshop is designed to help you grow your farming business and connect with the agricultural community. You'll have the chance to:<ul><li>Pair with a mentor: Get one-on-one mentorship from a seasoned farmer for personalized advice and training.</li><li>Get technical assistance: Gain support in areas like farm production, business management, regulations, marketing, and funding.</li><li>Network with other farmers: Connect with peers and build relationships within the region's farming community.</li><li>Enjoy a complimentary dinner: Share a meal with fellow attendees while you network.</li></ul> <h3>Who Should Attend</h3> This workshop is for both new and experienced farmers who want to share and gain knowledge.<ul><li>Mentees: Farmers with five years or less of experience operating a farm in Southern Maryland. The registration fee is $10.</li><li>Mentors: Experienced farmers willing to share their knowledge and expertise. There is no registration fee for mentors.</li></ul> <h3>Event Details &amp; Registration</h3> <ul><li>Date: Tuesday, October 28th</li></ul><ul><li>Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM</li><li>Location: Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission (SMADC), 15045 Burnt Store Road, Hughesville, MD 20637</li><li>Cost: $10 per mentee</li><li>Registration: Spots are limited, so be sure to register by October 21st to secure your place.</li></ul>Don't miss this opportunity to grow your farming business and build valuable connections in the Southern Maryland agricultural community.
