I was so lost, and didn't even know it. 24 years ago, I was anxious, powerless and hopelessly in a strangle hold by addiction. Desperate to do anything to find my way out of the endless cycle I did everything that was recommended to me I struggled with shame, self-esteem, and fear so common to single moms, lack of security Fueled my depression and anxiety. My road to recovery started with God and Jesus Christ, my higher power. Now I am free from many strongholds that held me in bondage for many years. However, fortunately our road doesn’t end here on earth, so there are still issues, emotional and health-wise that we will be dealing with until we reach home (heaven) Next, much of society is caught up in the health craze, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, raw, kind of stuff. Then those EO’s that seemed to me like a hoax, something that snake-oil salesmen peddled to come between me and my hard-earned money. I thought it was all a bunch of hooey, voodoo. On a mission trip, a friend was using Thieves Oil and urged me to use it to ward off the ickies, so I did. I couldn’t believe the results I had. I continued using it for several years before expanding my supply of oils. I was considering purchasing a very expensive face cream to fade my dark spots on my face, when that same friend invited me to a class on EO’s. I had done some research on that face cream and discovered that EO’s were some of its ingredients. So I went to the class to learn more about them. I learned so much at that class and decided to make my own fade cream from some of the oils. The price of the kit was less than 1 bottle of that face cream. So, it made sense to me to try the kit. Not only do I have my fade cream, but other oils that benefit me and my family in so many ways, I am still discovering them.
