In partnership with NJ4S, "Mental Health Maintenance: I Matter Too" is a 3 part series workshop designed to address the crucial aspect of mental well-being in the home. Focusing on the parent/caregiver, this session will explore warning signs of burnout, strategies for nurturing, and initiating a constructive dialogue and practice on self-care.
1. Identifying Burnout Signs: - Recognizing signs of burnout to proactively address mental health challenges. - Understanding the impact of burnout on personal well-being.
2. Creating a Dialogue and practice on Self-Care: - Facilitating open discussions on managing stress and promoting self-care practices. - Encouraging parent/caregivers to share their experiences and insights on maintaining mental health.
3. Interactive Activity: - Engaging the parents/caregivers in a hands-on activity to reinforce the workshop's key concepts. - Providing a platform for participants to collaboratively explore and create personalized mental health maintenance plans.
