Mental Health First Aid is a great training for individuals to learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental illness or crisis. This training provides tools and resources to be able to provide initial help, intervene in a crisis, and connect with appropriate professional help.
Topic covered:
• Common signs and symptoms of mental illness
• Common signs and symptoms of substance use
• How to interact with a person in crisis
• How to connect the person with help
• Content on trauma, addiction and self-care
We will be providing individual lunch to the participants.
