Mental and Physical Healing with Psychedelics

This talk will be presented by Tessa Cappelle, PhD. It explores the fascinating world of psychedelics and their growing role in modern medicine. We'll cover how these substances are being used to treat mental health issues, traumatic brain injuries, and chronic pain, highlighting recent research and groundbreaking discoveries in the field.

Tessa Cappelle holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of New Mexico and a MSc in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from the University of Göttingen. She has served in multiple editing roles, including at Psychedelics Today and Inner Traditions, and has a strong interest in the science behind the healing potential of psychedelics. She provides scientific consulting and data analysis with her business Cappelle Research Insights LLC. Her most recent client was TRIPP, a successful virtual reality meditation app known for its innovative approach to mental wellness and immersive psychedelic-like experiences.
