"Does the light of a lamp shine and keep its glow until its fuel is spent? Why shouldn't your truth, justice and self control shine until you are extinguished?" ~Marcus Aurelius, Meditations.

Once per month we meet as brothers, to exchange ideas and support each other on our paths.

We will talk Stoicism, Goals, Dating & Relationships, Health and Accountability.

The goal of this meeting is to firstly inspire us to become better men than we were yesterday. Secondly, this is a place to express our voice in a supporting environment, seeking advice, declare our intentions for the month and own up to our shit so we can pave the way to a virtuous life, as the stoics would say.

We will start each month with a short discussion about this months' theme, examine how can it affect our lives and take into heart the words of our brothers.

We will follow up with each person sharing their vision for next month, declaring his intentions in front of everyone, as well as owning up to the things he failed to do in the previous month.

Circle is led by Ari J Cohen; Life, Strength & Relationship Coach, and a big stoicism enthusiast.

Month of May's theme: RIGHT ACTION

"For philosophy doesn't consist of outward display, but in taking heed to what is needed and being mindful of it"
~ Musonius Rufus, Lectures, 16.75.15-16

We live in a world today where people are so focused on LOOKING good rather than DOING good.

Between social media and instagram "look at me" culture becoming a rampart way of life, and many people fousing on virtue signaling to other groups so they can showcase their "high moral values", it looks like a need for a discussion about doing good actually mean.

When you act and strive towards anything in life - what is your core motive? What motives do you consider "right", and do your actions coincide with them?

How can we make a positive impact as men on the work around us, as we live through this peculiar and yet so interesting time?

Curious to hear your thoughts.

Cya guys soon!
