She discovered massage therapy in 2001 while recovering from a horseback riding accident. Massage therapy helped with her recovery and piqued her interest in the profound benefits it can offer. She went on to receive professional training and certification at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, VA, and opened her private practice in 2004.Sacha Cohen is a certified health coach, writer, and entrepreneur. She works with women in midlife to help them take small, manageable steps toward better health. Sacha has written about wellness, travel, and more for AARP The Girlfriend, Fodor’s, Business Insider, The Washington Post, and many other outlets.
