About the Trainer

Dr Zoe Hodson is a GP and accredited British Menopause Society specialist. She worked in General Practice for 20 years before moving away from the NHS to focus solely on menopause care. She runs a small clinic based in Manchester and outside of the clinic delivers talks to many different communities across the Manchester area. This focuses on those who have previously been described as 'hard to engage' but she would prefer the term 'have rarely been included'.

She likes to embrace all of the many aspects of menopause from the biological to the psychological and hopes that with discussion this transition can become a little more clear and easier to navigate.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking her rescue hound Guinness although she suspects he has a large amount of sloth DNA and also has a rather disgustingly large yarn collection for knitting and crochet.
