In this Mending Workshop learn the basics of visible mending. In this fun and interactive workshop you will learn hand embroidery and sashiko techniques to mend your clothes. You&#x27;ll learn a couple darning techniques for repairing holes in woven garments (think jeans and button down shirts). We will practice the skills on scrap fabric, provided. You can also bring an item of clothing you&#x27;d like to repair and don&#x27;t mind practicing on. Mending materials will be provided. Please come any time between 1PM and 4PM to participate in this mending workshop. Taught by Nandi Duszynski of BLISS JOY BULL. Instructor Bio: Nandi Duszynski is the owner of BLISS JOY BULL, a line of clothing and accessories for women who want to bring more color and joy into their life. She sources low impact and upcycled materials and strives for zero waste in her designs and business. She creates cozy leisurewear, waxed canvas bags, jewelry, and hair accessories.
