Mending time

Double Union is a volunteer-run, non-profit, hacker/maker space and community workshop in San Francisco.   We work together to maintain a comfortable, welcoming environment that centers nonbinary people and women who are trans, cis, intersex, queer, straight, and not-fitting-into-those-labels, no matter what you look like.D﻿ouble Union is only open to non-members during public events.We may abruptly cancel events with no rsvp's.Double Union is currently located at 650 Florida St Unit M, San Francisco.  We are in a ground floor location on the interior courtyard of the block.  It's about 3/4 mile from the 16th St Mission BART station and 1 3/4 mile from the 4th & King Caltrain station.   There is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, but it is frequently busy.

Bring clothes, tote bags, or other things to mend! Open to members of Double Union, guests of members, and people interested in membership.

This is an informal, collaborative event. You can bring something to work on, get tips and help, and help others. We can try to help with repairing missing buttons, rips, holes in socks, worn-out areas, and things like that.Free!
