Mending Mondays are a cozy drop-in circle where we come together to repair and connect. Bring your well-loved belongings in need of a little care, and get guidance on mending techniques to help bring them back to life.
Or if you’re just feeling craft and want to finish a project, come on down! This is a space to connect and learn within community.
Supplies are limited, so you’re encouraged to bring your own stuff!
What is available:
- A cozy space with tea
- 2 x domestic sewing machines
- 1 x serger
- 1 x industrial sewing machine (for heavy duty fabric!)
- Needles, threads, scissors, cutting mats, irons
- Advice on your repairs
- A variety of textile scraps
Because space and supplies are limited, we ask that you reserve a spot if you are able to! We have two time slots: 6-7:30PM and 7:30-9PM. If you have a bigger project, feel free to book both time slots! Or if there is space after the first slot is done, you’re welcome to stay.
