The Memory Depot is a do it yourself (DIY) station where you can digitize a variety of materials. Join staff for a brief look at the equipment and learn about how you can get started making back-ups of precious original photos or converting old formats to something you can actually watch and listen to. Adults.

Digitize:

  • Photographic prints, negatives and slides
  • Scrapbooks and other documents
  • VHS and VHS-C video cassettes
  • Audio cassettes

Convert:

  • 3.5" floppies
  • SD and Micro SD cards

The George Mason Regional Library has been at its current location at 7001 Little River Turnpike Annandale, Virginia,  since 1965. The 27,000 square-foot building with its distinctive copper roof has become a focal point for the Annandale community.

The library offers free WiFi, computers, a quiet study room and meeting rooms that can be reserved at no charge. A collection of professionally-framed art prints can be checked out for three weeks.
