The Memory Depot is a do it yourself (DIY) station where you can digitize a variety of materials. Join staff for a brief look at the equipment and learn about how you can get started making back-ups of precious original photos or converting old formats to something you can actually watch and listen to. Adults.

Digitize:

  • Photographic prints, negatives and slides
  • Scrapbooks and other documents
  • VHS and VHS-C video cassettes
  • Audio cassettes

Convert:

  • 3.5" floppies
  • SD and Micro SD cards

The George Mason Regional Library has been at its current location at 7001 Little River Turnpike Annandale, Virginia,  since 1965. The 27,000 square-foot building with its distinctive copper roof has become a focal point for the Annandale community.

The library offers free WiFi, computers, a quiet study room and meeting rooms that can be reserved at no charge. A collection of professionally-framed art prints can be checked out for three weeks. Books in Spanish, Vietnamese and Korean reflect the multiculturalism of the community that makes the George Mason Regional Library an exciting place to be.
