Memory Ball 2023 Featuring Vicky McClures Our Dementia Choir

The Westgate Suites Wedding Venue

I wanted to let you know about my fundraising efforts on behalf of Vicky McClures Our Dementia choir a choir that has been formed by Vicky McClure herself for people who have been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s and use music and singing as therapy.This cause is a cause very close to my heart due to recently having lost my Mamma to this awful illness of which she fought for 15 years, 7 of those we cared for her at home and the remainder she spent in a wonderful nursing home. Over the years I have held memory balls yearly ( pre pandemic) to raise awareness and funds to help several charities.This year my chosen charity is Our Dementia Choir as I’ve been volunteering for them and can see the difference, they make I also know this is very costly for them as they provide a venue, transport, carers and food and drink for all. This year's event is set to take place on the 27th August in Long Eaton at the Westgate suites and will consist of live music, magic, a summer carvery buffet with champagne and a chocolate fountain as well as a performance from the choir.For all tickets purchased through Eventbrite you will receive a strip of raffle tickets on arrival.
