Calling all military veterans and first responders this Memorial Day Weekend
Come join us for an exciting Memorial Day Weekend Sail at beautiful Wrightsville Beach, NC. Get ready for a day filled with sun, sea, and sailing adventures! Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a beginner, this event is perfect for all Veterans and First Responders.
Experience the thrill of gliding through the waves as you sail along the stunning coastline. Feel the wind in your hair and the salty breeze on your face. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sailing enthusiasts as you explore the picturesque waters. Our experienced captain will guide you through the basics of sailing, so no prior experience is needed.

Things you need to know before sailing:
- All participants must fill out our Participation Registration. If you have sailed with us in the past, then you are already registered.
- This sailing event is for veterans and first responders. However, spouses and accompanied children will be considered if space is available and with prior approval from Freedom Sailing. Call Josh at 910-547-6285
- Wear closed-toe athletic or boat shoes
- Bring sunblock, sunglasses and a hat.
- You may bring a small bag for personal items onboard.
- Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited on the boat.
- We will provide water and snacks. You may bring your own snacks and water bottle if you like.
- The boat does not have a restroom. Please go beforehand.

Where do we meet?
- On the docks behind the Blockade Runner Resort, Wrightsville Beach, NC
- Look for the grey and red trimaran with Freedom Sailing logos.
Please Note:
- Parking may be limited on the beach. Please plan accordingly so that you arrive at the boat 15 minutes before your ticketed time.
- Since space is limited on the boat, please register only if you are going to attend.
- Sailing times can change depending on weather and other circumstances.
