Come join us for an evening exploration of memoir writing. Cassandra Soars writes narrative nonfiction and is the author of two books, Love Like Fire: The Story of Heidi Baker and Yellow: A Memoir of Resilience. Cassandra will talk about her own journey of writing a memoir about a dysfunctional and chaotic childhood and how her goal was to transform pain into art. She will give writing tips and will leave time to answer questions. All skill levels welcome.

Leader: Cassandra Soars writes narrative nonfiction and is the author of two books, Love Like Fire: The Story of Heidi Baker, and Yellow: A Memoir of Resilience. Cassandra has a master of fine arts in creative nonfiction writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She lives in northern California and recently founded an app for couples called iHeartUs.
