Indie, folk, punk, alternative… Ferrick moves freely between them, guided less by genre and more by instinct. What’s remained constant is the voice: raw, direct, and disarmingly honest.

In 2023, Ferrick signed with Kill Rock Stars — a label synonymous with fearless, authentic storytelling — and continues to release new work that reflects both where she’s been and where she’s going. To mark the 25th anniversary of Everything I Need, she’s revisited the album in its purest form: just voice and guitar, recorded live, no overdubs. It’s a return to the core of what makes her music hit.

Beyond the stage, Ferrick’s influence runs deep. A trailblazer for openly queer artists, educator, and mentor, she’s helped shape the landscape for a generation of independent musicians.
