Meeting Facilitation Workshop
Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (CST)
The team meeting solution you need!
Typical meeting formats can be stale, time consuming, and ineffective. Nevertheless, powerful communication and consistent strategy implementation is increasingly important. In recent years, the benefit of visual communication has emerged through deeper understanding of brain function and learning styles, leading to new ways to engage meeting participants.
Taught by Shirley Maeir, an expert in Group Facilitation and Organizational Development, this hands-on seminar will introduce you to fun, accessible ways to leverage the power of visuals — so you can immediately lead more creative, engaging, productive meetings.
Shirley Maeir is a seasoned team leader who approaches human resources with a commitment to customer service, strong interpersonal skills, strategic problem solving, consultative approach and sound business orientation. She is the founder/director of Realize Your Best Work, a consulting practice dedicated to helping organizations and employees know and achieve their very best.
The Spertus Approach — Spertus Institute cultivates an atmosphere of lively discourse. We often hear from students and participants that their Spertus experiences are inspiring and transformative. That is by design, and it results in meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership offers dynamic learning opportunities, rooted in Jewish wisdom and culture and open to all. Graduate programs and workshops train future leaders and engage individuals in exploration of Jewish life. Public programs include films, speakers, seminars, concerts, and exhibits — at the Institute’s Michigan Avenue facility, in the Chicago suburbs, and online.
