About this event

The race to replace Sen. Bob Menendez in the upcoming election is set to be a significant contest among candidates seeking to represent the more than 9 million residents of New Jersey. While all candidates have expressed support for President Joe Biden, their diverse backgrounds and contrasting views on policy and economic issues promise to make this a fascinating and closely followed race.

As part of the 2024 Election Initiatives with NJ Spotlight News and our ongoing "Not Your Same Old Sources" series, the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University will host this three-part series of virtual press briefings featuring New Jersey senatorial candidates.

This is the third briefing in the series, which will take place on Tuesday, April 30, and will feature senatorial candidate NJ Rep. Andy Kim, who will share his vision for the future of New Jersey with voters across the state.

This virtual press briefing will be hosted on Zoom, providing an opportunity for journalists to engage with Rep. Kim and gain a more comprehensive understanding of his platform and objectives as he seeks to represent the people of New Jersey in the U.S. Senate. Members of the media are encouraged to attend and ask questions to better inform their coverage of this highly anticipated election.

For more information about the "Not Your Same Old Sources" series and to RSVP for the virtual media briefings, please contact the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University via email at info@centerforcooperativemedia.org.
