History Fort Lauderdale operates 3 museums & a research library on its historic campus on the New River. Guided tours of museums begin every day at 1, 2, and 3pm. Author  Kingsley Guy discusses his book "Piercing the Veil: A Skeptical Journalist Discovers Unseen Worlds."

<p>Kingsley Guy was employed by South Florida’s Sun Sentinel newspaper for 30 years, including 23 as editorial page editor. During his career, he had assignments in the Middle East, India, Russia, and China, and conversed with hundreds of prominent newsmakers, including John McCain, Hillary Clinton, John Glenn, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Madeleine Albright. He has been a frequent guest on radio and television. Before Piercing the Veil: A Skeptical Journalist Discovers Unseen Worlds, the winner of a prestigious Nautilus Book Award, he wrote the critically acclaimed novel, Queen of the Heavens, set in ancient Egypt.
