Meet Mr Davies (our new SENDCo)
This informal gathering is a chance to begin building relationships and open communication with Mr Davies.
I am delighted to invite you to a Coffee Afternoon on Friday the 18th of July at 1:15pm (just before our Celebration of Music event) where you will have the opportunity to meet Mr Davies, who will be joining us as our new SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher.
This informal gathering is a chance to begin building relationships and open communication with Mr Davies, who is keen to work closely and collaboratively with families to support your children’s continued journey here at The Ellis. We know how important the partnership between home and school is, particularly in supporting children with additional needs, and we’re excited to begin this next chapter together.
Mrs Wise, our current SENDCo and Deputy Headteacher, will also be joining us on the afternoon. Mrs Wise has been working closely with Mr Davies to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of support for children, families, and staff.
Whether you’ve worked closely with the SEND team before or are simply keen to meet the new member of our leadership team, we would be delighted to welcome you.
Please let the school office know if you are planning to attend, so we can make sure there’s enough tea, coffee, and biscuits to go around!
