Meditation is an easy way to slow down mental chatter and relieve stress. You will learn several basic techniques including belly breathing and a quick relief trigger. Then I will guide you into a deeper state to explore your inner self. You may experience images or messages that can bring insight. You may want to bring a notebook or something to record whatever you may receive. There will be a short time for discussion after the meditation.
This event will be in the Hickory Room of the Jasper Pulic Library.
About Maryla:
I have been meditating and exploring my inner landscape for almost 40 years. In that time, I have taken numerous workshops and classes in many forms of relaxation, meditation, and inner work. Using that experience, I began leading meditations about 30 years ago. I create my guided meditations by first thinking about the specific purpose and choosing images that will enable listeners to find their own answers. When I am presenting the actual meditations, I allow my intuition to adjust the images and flow to best suit the participants.
