Do I have to be in costume to attend the event?

No. A lot of people enjoy dressing up to get into the spirit of the event, but it is not a requirement for entry.

Is the event pet friendly?

Sadly, no. Due to city regulations, our insurance, and the working animals at the event, we cannot permit pets or therapy dogs. Only working service animals (dogs) are permitted entry.

What happens if it rains during the event?

Medieval Mayhem Renaissance Faire is a rain-or-shine event. Patrons are welcome to stay and "hang out" in our covered seating areas, enjoy less crowded shopping in vendor booths, or leave the grounds and return the same day when the waterworks stop. We do not issue refunds for weather.

Why isn't the event free for the public?

This Renaissance Faire is a fundraising event for the Mountain of Hope Foundation (501c3) that creates immersive educational experiences to raise funds to award scholarships to veterans and first responders who are disabled in the line of duty. Tickets pay for the expenses of the event.
