About the Event

Don’t be spooked by medication myths! Join Alayna Smith, LPC and Jessica Collett, APRN for a 3 CEU event that explores treatment implications of co-occurring disorders and addresses common misconceptions about psychiatric medications and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

This engaging session will provide mental health and substance use professionals with practical tools, updated clinical insights, and strategies to better support clients navigating treatment.

Presenters

Jessica Collett, APRN
Dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with extensive experience in mental health, substance use treatment, and trauma-informed care.

Alayna Smith, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in outpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

CEU Information

• 3 CEU credits awarded to: LADC, CM, PRSS, LPC, LMFT, LCSW
