In order to be effective interpreters, we must strive to learn a little about all conditions and diseases. We must also keep abreast of detailed area terminology. In this collaborative workshop, we will:
- Have an in-depth look at the prefixes, roots and suffixes which make up medical terminology.
- Define a wide array of medical terminology.
- Collaborate with participants in order to dissect a list of medical terms into their corresponding parts so that we are better prepared when interpreting.
- Discuss resources available that interpreters can use for study.
This 1.5 hour webinar will be presented in English.
