About the performers:

Polite Kitty is a comedic storyteller by nature. They tell about their life experiences as an autistic, disabled superparent with epilepsy, raising kids, hyper fixations, and dysfunctional family fun. A brilliant style of entertainment that leaves an audience participating and laughing! They work full time as a performer, producer, comedian, and ghost hunt tour guide for Spooked in Seattle. They have performed with the annual Turnpike Comedy Festival, LA Comedy Connection Improv, Story Collider, Geeky Comedy Seattle, Club Comedy Seattle, Jody Oliver Show, Bombing Run, and more! They are the founder and director of South Sound Improv, which currently has a virtual team that is finishing up it’s first season and an in person which is having its next performance on June 9th.

When Polite Kitty is not on stage, they enjoy time with family and their fur babies (8 dogs and 7 cats). They also love gardening, reading, music, dancing, binging favorite TV shows on repeat, comedy, improv, 1950’s look, frogs, mermaids, and making others feel good about themselves. Most relatable animal is a Manul Cat. They have two sons, 10 and 19 years old, and lives in a home with their parents as a community. They spend a good amount of time listening to Batala’s ASMR and now catching up on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Valerie Benti takes their day-job as a scientist very seriously, except when they're doing science comedy, which is most of the time. After moving to Seattle in 2018, she founded "Geeky Comedy Seattle,” and you can now find her performing, singing, and producing geeky content wherever they'll let her.

***

Emma Schmuckler (she/her) is a fresh face on the Seattle comedy scene. She’s a storyteller whose comedy touches on her experiences as a Queer, Jewish, Gen-Z harlot who is just trying her best. Emma recently was a semi-finalist in Nate Jackson’s Funniest MFer Comedy Competition and performed in the Upper Left Comedy Festival. You can find her on stages across the Pacific Northwest, and on Instagram and TikTok @emmaschmucks.

***

JA Fields (he/they) is a natural historian, artist, and poet living by the Salish Sea. He is a psychiatric survivor, a survivor of medical negligence, and a cyborg, which is to say he grapples with the medical-industrial complex for access to his own body. You can find him @noncompliantcyborg on many platforms and his first chapbook is available at gum.co/JAFieldsChapbook.
