About this event

The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education invites you to a webinar to review the outline content for the T Level in Media, Broadcast and Production.

We want a skills revolution to ensure all young people can go as far as their talents and hard work can take them. Developing our home-grown talent will ensure that British business has the skills it needs on its doorstep. Our education reforms have transformed schools so that more pupils are in good or outstanding schools than ever before, giving pupils from all backgrounds the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. The next phase is to ensure that, for the first time, we present young people with three excellent choices after the age of 16 in the form of equally rigorous academic and technical options: A levels, Apprenticeships and T Levels.

T Levels are new technical study programmes that will sit within a reformed skills training system: the new gold standard for technical education and excellence. The Institute believes that there is one way to get this right – through a genuine partnership between business, education professionals and government. This is why T Level panels formed of employers and businesses are responsible for developing the outline content for T Level qualifications. The first 3 T Levels will be delivered from September 2020 in Education, Construction and Digital.

The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education invites you to attend a webinar to review the outline content for the T Level in Media, Broadcast and Production, which will be taught from 2023 and includes the following occupational specialisms:

  • Content Creation and Production
  • Creative Media Technician
  • Events and Venues Technician.

The webinar is a chance for key employers in your sector to review and comment on the draft outline content. We know that COVID-19 is having a huge impact on your industry, but your input at this stage would be highly valued and will help ensure that the reformed technical education system supports your skills challenges.

We hope you will be able to join the discussion.
