About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Please join us in the PS 321 auditorium for a conversation with Julie Scelfo, the founder of Mothers Against Media Addiction (MAMA). Julie is a former New York Times staff writer, media ecologist, and Brooklyn mother of three. Concerned about the effects social media and other addictive technologies are having on our children, she recently founded MAMA and was quickly joined by hundreds of parents across the country. Julie will share her story, research and plans to build a national movement and advocacy organization, and take questions from our community.

This event is sponsored by the PS 321 PTA SEL Committee with our media partner, Park Slope Parents. Tickets are free, but please consider making a donation to support PS 321 and our ability to host wonderful events like these!
