MECHA SONIC 2 is BACK. After being stalled multiple times from the pandemic, we're finally presenting this show again -- this time for TWO NIGHTS.TESLA COILS!  BRASS BAND ON FIRE!  ANGLE GRINDERS!  SAXOPHONE ABUSE!  PNEUMATIC TOOLS!  HAMMERS!  THEREMINS!  MOTORCYCLES!MECHA SONIC SESSIONS is the most inventive, unpredictable, and creatively dangerous musical event you will see all year.  It is a musical-industrial-scientific spectacle held in a functioning metal fabrication shop in Brooklyn, where world-class musicians will perform with traditional instruments fused with tools, electronics and lots and lots of metal.We will be assembling two full nights of music made by nearly 40 musicians making music using grinders, anvils, I-beams, pneumatic drills, and a forge.   Dozens of instruments will be designed and built specifically for the show.  Just some of the sets will include :a Fire-Shooting Brass BandBaritone sax and Motorcyle Double-Quarteta Balloon ChoirIndustrial ConductionAerial MusicModular Synthesizer Audiovisual ImmersionsFlaming Harpa Fork Lift Limbo Contestand a 500,000 Volt Tesla Coil.There will be an Interactive Beer-Controlled Music Installation.  And a Saw Sax: a saxophone cut into pieces while being played.Clearly, this is a unique event, an unparalleled performance, and an unforgettable night of sound, experimentation, and entertainment.
