The Miami-Dade Transportation Quick-Build Program is a County effort that provides funding and technical assistance to anyone who wants to make short-term, low-cost transportation improvements to their neighborhood. To launch this program, Miami-Dade County and partner Green Mobility Network are holding a contest, called the Quick-Build Challenge, for the first $60,000 in funding! Join us for a kick-off workshop to hear more about the program and how you can get involved!

At the workshop, Green Mobility Network and urban planning/design firm Street Plans will teach you about Tactical Urbanism, a city, organizational, and/or citizen-led approach to neighborhood building using short-term, low-cost, and scalable interventions to catalyze long-term change. You’ll brainstorm ideas for how to improve your communities, gain hands-on experience in the design and implementation of these ideas, and be inspired to apply for the Quick-Build Challenge!
