About MDIIO: Songistry’s MDIIO (Music Data Intelligence In/Out) and MDIIO+ platforms utilize State of the Industry AI to bring together music Creators, Industry Creatives and Enterprise Organizations into one transformative and transactional professional music ecosystem (M-a-a-S - Music as a Service). The traditionally laborious process of tracking collaborators, audio assets, lyrics, playlists, metadata and sharing is a thing of the past. And through MDIIO+, music discovery and licensing is easier than EVER for users at every level by leveraging trademarked processes such as S.M.A.R.T playlists (Search MDIIO And Recommend Tracks). Industry wide, MDIIO is the world’s only true 360° music licensing solution for EVERYONE.

Tami LaTrell is multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated songwriter who’s written for artists such as Whitney Houston (Whatchulookinat), Monica (Anchor), Keyshia Cole (Fallin Out), SWV (All About You, Let’s Make Music), Rotimi (Take You Back) and country duo Love and Theft (You Didn’t Want Me) to name a few. She inked her first music publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing in 2002 under the leadership of Creative Jon Platt, and is now an established veteran writer with Sony Music Publishing.

After nearly 20 years in the business as a creative, Tami retired from songwriting in 2018 to fulfill a bigger purpose - serving the music community. She launched The Mezzo Agency, a full service music administration company that provides services for songwriters, artists and producers in catalog management, metadata enrichment, royalty collection, creative and music licensing.

Since 2018 her company has recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in unclaimed royalties for music creators on her roster which include Billboard chart topping rapper and writer K Camp (Blessing, What's On Your Mind), platinum producer El Jefe (Queen Naija), producer Audio Jones (City Girls, Nicki Minaj), Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner El Puma (Atrevete, Cicatrizes), the Estate of the late Rev. Paul Jones (I Won't Complain), writer/producer David Frazier (Hezekiah Walker, Ricky Dillard), writer/producer Spotless (Soco by Wizkid) and several others who entrusts in Mezzo to find, match and collect royalties that are owed to them.

Tami also facilitates music publishing and copyright workshops as a music advocate, helped alongside others with The Recording Academy and the late Congressman John Lewis to pass the Music Modernization Act and also speaks at different universities and music programs in schools.

She has been featured in Ebony Magazine‘s Black Women To Know In PR, Tech & Digital Media, she was featured in Chicago Tribune as “Top 20 African American Entrepreneurs To Watch” and also LA Wire’s “40 Influential Women of 2020”. She’s also a Youtube partner with over 800k views.

Tami is a HBCU graduate from Texas Southern University, attended Harvard Law receiving her certification in Copyright Law, she holds a position as Governor of The Recording Academy-Atlanta chapter, is a member of Association for Independent Music Publishers, and is a founding member of Women In Music-Atlanta.
