The President’s Community Engagement Award recognizes exemplary community-academic partnerships, community-engaged research, and community outreach activities and programs of MCW faculty, staff, students, and community partners. Join us over a complimentary lunch to honor this year’s awardees and learn about their remarkable work.

The Community Engagement Donation Drive: Essential Supplies

The Office of Community Engagement is coordinating its second annual donation drive. During the month of May, The Community Engagement Donation Drive: Non-Perishable Food will collect food items to be donated to Dryhootch, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit organization formed by combat veterans to help veterans in their return home.

Here are ways you can donate during the month of May:

• From May 1–31, bring your donations to one of the boxes located around the MCW-Milwaukee campus.
• On May 2, bring your donation when you attend the Community Engagement Conference at the Milwaukee Country War Memorial Center.
• On May 3, bring your donation when you attend the President’s Community Engagement Award Luncheon at the MCW-Milwaukee campus. Please note, award ceremony registration is required.
• Purchase non-perishable items directly from the Amazon Wishlist.
