McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Liaison Regional Training (Fairfax)

Attendance at this training meets the requirement for new homeless liaisons’ initial training and the continuing liaisons’ annual training requirement. This training will provide an overview of the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (EHCY) Program as reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act, with an emphasis on the role and responsibilities of local liaisons as well as changes in the law. Lunch will be provided. Other school staff are welcome to attend.

This is an all-day training.  Returning liaisons feel free to attend as your schedule allows.
