Get your hands dirty in our in-person wheel throwing class! Unleash your creativity and learn the art of crafting pottery on a spinning wheel. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to those looking to refine their technique. Our instructors will guide you through the process step by step. What You Get

Includes clay and tools

In this class you will learn the basics of Wheel Throwing. You will learn about: Different types of clay, stages of clay, setting up and cleaning up work area, prep clay for throwing, operate a potter’s wheel, identify and use tools, steps for throwing on the wheel, trimming pieces, pulling handles, and gazing techniques.

Wear clothes that can get messy.


Missed Classes

There will be 1 scheduled make-up session for the class. The make class information will be given out during class.

Masks are recommended

Enhanced cleaning procedures.-regular disinfection and cleaning of surfaces and cleaning of equipment after each use.

Refund Policy

There are No Refunds. You will receive a credit that can be applied to future class offerings. The credit is valid for 1 year from the date of the purchase.

Is pottery wheel experience required?

No experience required!

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably in clothes that you don't mind getting messy. Clay wipes/washes out easily from fabric.

What physical activity is involved in throwing clay on the potter's wheel?

Throwing on the potter's wheel can be physically demanding. You will be seated on a stool and bent over the potter's wheel. The positioning of your hands, legs, and feet may be awkward at first, but you will get the hang of it!
