Instructions:

1. Create a group of no more than 4 people, then create a group name to be identified by.

2. Appoint a team captain that will be in charge of posting all pictures to the May the 4th Scavenger Hunt Facebook group page.

3. You will have to ask to join the private Facebook group the day of the ride and we’ll then approve your request and you can begin posting.

*Hopefully someone on your team has a Facebook account, if not please get with a team member from Buckeye H-D to figure out an alternative method for submitting pictures.

Scavenger Hunt Rules:

1. The Team That Stays Together Wins Together.

Your team must stay together at all times. You may not split up to “divide” tasks.

2. Cheaters Never Win.

Have fun and try to win. But don’t let your competitive instincts drive you to ruin other people’s chances to win. If you do, your team will be disqualified. That means no sabotaging, lying, cheating, stealing, or copying other people’s work.

3. If You Fight the Law (and the Law Wins).

You’re here to have fun but do so legally. So here it is. If you break any laws at any time during any portion of the scavenger hunt, your team will be disqualified. This includes, but is not limited to, moving violations, trespassing, burglary, larceny, embezzlement, grand theft, petty theft, shoplifting, assault, plagiarism, blackmail, indecent exposure, decent exposure, recent exposure, having a concealed firearm, unlawfully discharging a firearm, unlawful sale of a firearm, brandishing a weapon, bribery, forgery, perjury, fraud, computer fraud, mail fraud, telemarketing fraud, tax evasion, tax fraud, insurance fraud, securities fraud, and bad hair. Seriously, if you get so much as a speeding ticket, you lose.

4. Being Late Loses The Game.

Your team, in its entirety, must return to Buckeye Harley-Davidson at 7220 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, Ohio 45414 no later than 5:00 PM. All photos must be submitted to the May the 4th Facebook Group Page by 5:00 PM as well. The judge’s requirements in this area will be specific.

5. Decisions.

All decisions by the judges are final. No exceptions.

6. Claim It . Be sure to include the name of your group and the number of the task on all of your Facebook Photo Posts, if we don’t know who you are or the task you’re completing we cannot award points and the entry will be disqualified.

7. Don’t Overdo It.

The biggest goal to achieve is to have fun and raise money. You don’t have to tackle all the tasks listed just the ones you want to do and or are comfortable with doing. Go at your own pace and have a great time, it’s all for a good cause.

8. Be Respectful of People and Properties.

You will be interacting with lots of people you don’t know while executing these tasks, they are going to think you are a blast and be so jealous of all the fun you are having. But always remember to be mindful and respectful of other people no matter race, sex, gender, gender affiliation, size, age, NFL team they love, or if they are a Pepsi or Coca-Cola person. Also, respect any private property and any of the businesses you visit and always ask permission.

9. No littering.

Always clean up after yourselves and your teammates.

10. Cheaters Never Win.

If anyone on your team cheats or breaks the scavenger hunt rules, the whole team gets disqualified.

Remember – it’s just a game! Be kind and have fun 🙂

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There is no age limit, however, an ID will be required for challenge coin and packet pick up. Please have your ID out and ready at the time of the event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?

All vehicles are welcome to participate in the Scavenger Hunt. We just ask that you let the motorcycles leave out of the dealership first. You are free to leave any time after noon and or when the procession of motorcycles leaves to begin the hunt. Abide by all traffic laws and remember to use your head not your throttle.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, but you need to email Megan - Marketing Manager - at marketing@buckeyehd.com to transfer the name on the ticket.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket (or mobile device showing ticket) to the event?

Yes. For the May the 4th Scavenger Hunt, you must bring proof of registration. A printed receipt or mobile device will work.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds, unless dire extenuating circumstances.
