KATHLEEN OSBORNE: " Writing Wisdom from the Galaxy"

Did you know Science Fiction can blend in other genres? Kathleen Osborne writes Science Fiction Romance and Alien Romance! Authors Jane Castle (Jayne Anne Krentz), S. E. Smith, Michelle Deiner, M.K. Eidem, Anna Hackett and others showed her whole worlds and universes she could explore through their main characters. After several careers, including the Air Force, in December 2019, she told her husband, “I’m going to write a book.” His reply? “Then write a book.”

Kathleen found that no matter what she was writing, she was introducing aliens or paranormal aspects to her novels or stories. In answer to why she always ends up with a Science Fiction or Space Opera manuscript, she explains, “With Science Fiction and Fantasy, you create your own world, characters, religions, government, etc; which gives you the freedom to invent things that you have never thought of before… I feel that Science Fiction/Fantasy illustrates to the scientist what they could create. It may take the scientist a year or fifty years, but somehow humankind finds the solution and makes what the author dreams up and puts it to practical use.” How exciting is that?

Kathleen founded Transcendent Authors has stories in six anthologies they have produced and has published the novel King of Onus. Dream Brides — Book One of the Modrog Protectors will be out this year.
