TOPIC 1: Managing Wealth in 2025

Many investors feel stuck right now, and for good reason. It’s hard to know what’s the right move to make when you’re concerned about the economy, baffled by the stock market and worried that your investment plans are no longer valid. Our first speaker will give her insights on how she is guiding her clients now. Kristina Kuprina is President of Sequoia Wealth Advisors, which she founded to help others achieve Financial Consciousness -awareness and understanding of how financial decisions affect the rest of your life.

TOPIC 2: Dividend Investing: A Personal Journey

Andy Prophet is a longtime student of investing, a retiree and has been an AAII member for over 30 years. He has been on an 18-year journey to build a steady growing stream of dividend stocks. Join us in a sharp departure from traditional investing to learn about investing for a steady income stream. Andy Prophet will walk through common tools and techniques to build and manage a portfolio. Since most AAII members are self-directed investors near or in retirement, learning how to set up a portfolio, minimize risk and grow income can be critical to a comfortable retirement. This presentation is a personal journey in managing a dividend income portfolio and exploring guidelines for managing risk.

Highlights:

  • How to invest for a steady income stream
  • Common tools and techniques to build and manage a portfolio
  • Basic guidelines for managing risk
