May Flower Potluck

Welcome Flower Lovers!

We're excited to play, meet our fellow flower community, and raise money for Palestinian Youth Movement DMV.

Here's how Flower Potluck works:

1. Reserve your spot on this eventbrite and be prepared to make a donation to at the door via venmo! We suggest a sliding scale donation range of $10-$100.

2. Follow @flower.potluck.dmv on IG for flower inspiration, tips + tricks, and event updates

3. Bring flowers (foraged or store-bought, a mix or all the same) + a vessel (something you want to arrange your flowers in). Flowers are selected at the beginning of the event, to make sure you have access please arrive on time :)

4. Start arranging!

Flower Potluck includes a brief skill share on flower arranging. We also provide a pedestal and back drop for potluck attendees to photograph their flowers for their Instagrams, portfolios, or to show off to your loved ones!

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from our hosts Doubles / Sonnys.

Event Details

When: Saturday, May 18th 11am-1pm (please arrive on-time!)

Where: Doubles DC Patio - 118 Georgia Avenue NW · Washington, DC 20010

Accessibility: While we remove most of the benches for arranging - seating is available. There are 3 gender neutral restrooms on the first floor. There is a small step to enter the building, however a flat entrance can be organized through Sonny's (right next door, leading to the patio, please instagram DM us to coordinate this as Sonny's doesn't open until noon!)

COVID-19: This is going to be a masked event! Here's helpful masking info! We will have some KN95's avaliable. If you have access, please take a rapid test no earlier than 2 hours before the potluck. Do not come to the potluck if you are feeling sick, test positive, or had a recent exposure. If you are unable to attend the potluck after having reserved, direct message us through our Instagram and we will reserve a spot for your at the next Flower Potluck. <3
