What is The Roll for Initiative?

The Roll For Initiative is a registered non-profit in New York, primarily serving New York City. The Roll for Initiative’s focus is on educating children using table-top-RPGs.

How do you help children?

Our mission is to help underprivileged children and children of the LGBTQ community to learn cooperative storytelling, coping mechanisms, problem solving, and general social skills through the use of role-playing games.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Roll for Initiative is a registered 501(c)3 organization. You may request a copy of our W-9 form for tax deductible donations. Any donation over $250 will automatically be given a W-9 to submit to the IRS. Our EIN is 92-3573112.

Is this event for children?

No. We separate our events for children from our events at taverns for adults. Our motto is "the adults pay to play, so the kids play free".
