About this event

  • 4 hours

We are excited to have you join us as Dr. Sara Coffey discusses Moral Injury and Adolescent Development & Juvenile Defense. We are excited to also have our former Project Coordinator back as a guest speaker! Kayleigh Faber will be presenting Stigmatizing Language which will cover how to shift our language to reduce stigma, and Officer Wellness. The hope is by the end of the day you have a greater knowledge and understanding of mental illness, including de-escalation tactics and how to best respond during a mental health crisis.

The trainings will include four 1-hour lectures. Each lecture is 1 Mental Health CLEET credit. (you have the opportunity to receive up to 4 CLEET credits if you attend all sessions and will fulfill the 2 MH CLEET Credit requirement). You are free to attend as many or as few sessions as you would like. Attendance will be taken during each session so you will only receive credit for the sessions you attend. You only need to register ONCE even if you are planning to attend multiple sessions.
