Damage Prevention & Safety Seminars are free. All contractor and utility excavation personnel, safety managers, trainers, foremen and supervisors working in the private or public sector in Arizona are welcome and encouraged to attend. These seminars provide important information to prevent serious injuries and protect the utilities we all rely on every day. Speakers include representatives from Arizona 811 (formerly Arizona Blue Stake), utility owners/operators including natural gas transmission and distribution, electricity and communications; the Arizona Corporation Commission.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Check-in for this seminar will begin 10 minutes prior to start time and the program will begin promptly at the scheduled time

• Program duration is 3 - 3.5 hours
• This is a VIRTUAL event being hosted on Microsoft Teams LIVE Events
• Event details will be sent to the email address used in the eventbrite registration, a couple of days prior to the event
• You may join this event using a computer, laptop or tablet. Cell phone is not recommended for viewing since videos WILL NOT display on cell phones
• The seminar will include knowledge checks throughout the presentation. Plan on downloading the Point Solutions app on a separate mobile device (such as a cell phone) in order to participate in the knowledge check and engaging with speakers to ask questions. If you are not able to download the mobile app, a link will be provided to join using a separate browser.

Please adhere to the following:

• If registration is full, a waiting list will be created and individuals will be contacted in the order they were placed on the waiting list.
• Companies and local governments are welcome to register multiple attendees. However, a registration form must be completed for each individual who is attending.
• Attendees are expected to honor their RSVP. Substitutions can be made at any time. NOTE: This is a free event. If you RSVP but cannot attend, please cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance to make it possible for the open spot to be filled by others on the waiting list.
• For the benefit of all seminar participants, professional and courteous behavior is expected at all times.
• As a courtesy to other attendees, please turn off your device cameras and mute your devices for the duration of the presentation.
