All are invited to a Farewell Party for Rachael on Friday night, and clergy may also register for a clergy retreat alone, or both events.

Farewell Reception: 5:30-7:00 p.m. Friday May 3
Gather at Chicken n Pickle in Wichita for appetizers, lawn games, and a chance to say goodbye! You are welcome to stay longer and enjoy the space, purchasing dinner and beverages on your own.
Limited discount rooms are available at the Residence Inn Wichita East, at $129 per night. Call (316) 682-7300 and ask for the "Kansas Oklahoma Conference" rate for Thursday May 2 or Friday May 3. You are of course welcome to find other accommodations on your own. Clergy retreat: if you are only staying one of the two nights, buy the ticket with the corresponding night and DO NOT make your own reservation! We will do it for you. If you are staying both nights, make your own reservation for FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY (we will take care of Thursday), but please let us know so we can coordinate with the hotel to keep you in the same room. Clergy Retreat: May 3, 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Clergy may choose to come in on Thursday evening for dinner and fellowship with an overnight stay; OR you may join in starting Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. with a plan to stay over on Friday evening instead. We will gather at Wichita UCC for worship and guided conversation in the morning, and in the afternoon we'll participate in a remote offering through Eden Seminary on "Disrupting Christian Nationalism." Please plan to attend the entire event (9:30am-5:00 p.m.) on Friday if you register.
Clergy may also join the Farewell Reception but this requires purchase of a separate ticket. One night's hotel stay is included in the cost of the retreat, but if you wish to stay for both Thursday and Friday night, choose only the THURSDAY hotel stay option and book your own room for Friday. If you choose the Friday night option, dinner will be provided with the clergy group at Chicken n Pickle at 7pm. This does NOT include participation in the farewell reception, which is not required and is not part of the retreat. Please purchase a separate ticket for the farewell party if you wish to attend (see FAQ).

No, none of these tickets are refundable. If you register but find you cannot attend, your ticket is transferable if you are able to find someone else who wishes to attend.
No, you do not have to choose an overnight stay, but the cost will be the same. The cost of the clergy retreat covers only a small portion of the total event. Most of the costs are covered by grants from the Conference and the National Setting.
Yes. Clergy who choose Friday as their dinner & overnight will also get dinner at Chicken n Pickle, but we need to account separately for numbers of people who will be present for the reception. If you do not plan to attend the farewell reception at all, please arrive at 7pm for dinner.
Clergy who register for the retreat are expected to attend the entire event. If you cannot attend otherwise but wish to take the class you may do so remotely by registering on your own through Eden Seminary.
