Yes! Or feel free to utilize designated studio materials. You will receive a menu to choose from.

Can I bring my child?

Youth are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. All attendees, including both adults and children, must purchase an individual ticket.

Are there studio rules?

Yes. Each room will have a designated materials menu for you to choose from, along with studio etiquette guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable creative experience for everyone.

Open Studios are intentionally uninstructed, offering a taste of each artist’s creative offerings. If you’d like to deepen your creative exploration, ask us about booking a private lesson or class! And don’t worry - if you need help or guidance while you create, we’re here for you.

Join Us for Our Family Friendly Second Saturday Open Studio!

Enjoy three hours of drop-in, uninstructed creative time! Bring a project, grab some coffee, use our supplies—or bring your own. Make a new friend, or just hang out and create—we don’t mind. Second Saturday Open Studios are family friendly.

Your ticket includes:

Use of designated supplies from all three Three Door Studios artists
Space to create indoors and outdoors
Coffee and water (feel free to bring your own snacks)

Supplies available:

Emily (The Playful Space): Mixed media tools, markers, magazines, scissors
Amanda (The Studio Bakersfield): Sewing machines, fabric, rulers, thread
Madison Cowan: Print press, printing inks, pre carved wood/lino blocks, carving tools, scrap paper

Ages: Adults and youth with an accompanying adult. (all must purchase a ticket)
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
