May 1st 6-8 pm, join us at Guilford Green Foundation & LGBTQ Center to view Natural Hair The Movie that explores hair identity struggles among Black women and dive into the history of Black hair. Launched from a Kickstarter campaign, the film offers perspectives of men, college students, business professionals, professors, doctors, and natural hair entrepreneurs. It also focuses on BIPOC women who have been overlooked for employment and have been denied education simply because they decided to wear their natural hair in an effort address the challenges that they face by choosing to embrace their natural beauty.
