SESSION DESCRIPTION
At the May session, Dr. Wilkerson will discuss the data science pipeline for nonprofits - from data creation to management and analysis to communication. The session will include information about bridging the gap between existing data that nonprofit organizations have access to and data nonprofits would like to have. Dr. Wilkerson will also review data analysis techniques and touch on machine learning techniques that can be used to measure outcomes and quantify impact for nonprofit organizations. Finally, Dr. Wilkerson will examine the variety of open-source tools that are available to nonprofits for data visualization and communication.
