Welcome to Maximizing the Unique Opportunities and Working Through the Struggles of ADHD event! Join us at the Swedish Hospital Community Wellness Center - at Mayfair Commons for an insightful discussion on navigating life with ADHD. We will discuss how ADHD can both cause struggles AND offer unique opportunities for those who have it. We will discuss current treatment options and barriers to effective treatment. Participants will gain a better understanding of the condition and solutions for managing living with ADHD and living with someone with ADHD. This workshop is designed for both providers and interested community members.

This workshop will be faciliated by Don Pinkston, LCSW, CADC, ATE. Don is Don is currently in private practice with Martin Therapy Group in Frankfort, IL. Don has been working in behavioral health for over 30 years. Don has had management and supervisory roles at AMITA health, TASC, and Interventions and has worked with the University of Chicago, Moraine Valley and South Suburban College as an educator and field liaison. Don has specialized training in working with and assessing for ADHD and is in the process of obtaining recertification.
