About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Join us for a rich evening of worshipful artistry with Matt Papa and Skye Peterson. Our church family is delighted to welcome the Anderson/Greenville area community onto our campus at New Covenant Church. We pray that Christ is exalted and you are encouraged by the musicianship, lyricism, and fellowship we enjoy together on October 5!

Matt Papa

As a veteran songwriter and Christian musician, Matt Papa has carved an even more unique space for himself as one of the world’s top modern-day hymn writers. With songs like, “His Mercy Is More”, “Christ Our Hope In Life And Death” and “Come Behold The Wondrous Mystery”, Matt tours regularly across the U.S. as a songwriter with Getty Music and frequently guests on their tours. A three-time Dove Award nominated artist, Matt is on a mission to write songs that are singable, beautiful, and timeless. He currently serves as an artist-in-residence at Marco Presbyterian Church in Marco Island, FL, and most of all, is a husband, and a father to 5 beautiful children(mattpapa.com/about).

Skye Peterson

Skye Peterson is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Although she has been writing and recording since high school, she began her career as a musician after studying Theology and being inspired by biblical history and hermeneutics. Now writing hymns for Getty Music and the local church, Skye is also performing her own concerts and hoping to tell the world that they are not alone and that there’s a King who’s worth singing about.
