Scottish Rite

Bring your own lawn chair and snuggle in on the spacious grounds of the Mansion at the Scottish Rite for an evening of amazing music! Matt Cappy is a Trumpeter, Composer, and Arranger who has toured, performed, or recorded with artists such as Michael Jackson, Jill Scott, Elvis Costello, Jay-Z, Earth, Wind, &amp; Fire, Dave Matthews Band, The Roots, Amos Lee, The Mavericks, and Ms. Patti LaBelle to name a few. He has recorded on 4 Grammy Winning albums : Fred Hammond's "Free To Worship" in 2008, Kirk Franklin's "Fight Of My Life" in 2009, John Legend And The Roots "Wake Up" in 2011, and Alejandro Sanz's "Sirope" in 2015. Matt appeared in the movie "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" in 2005 and also appears in Jill Scott's "Live In Paris" DVD released in 2008 and recorded a live album at the famous ACL Live in Austin, TX with The Mavericks entitled "All Night Live Vol. 1." Matt is a Yamaha Performing Artist and a Ropeadope Records recording artist. His debut album, "Church And State" was released in 2017 to critical acclaim and his sophomore album entitled "Tale Of The Tape" will be released this Fall! Plenty of room to social distance. Bring your own chair/snacks. Our bar will be open for alcohol sales.Admission $15.00. Cash or credit cards accepted.Masks required when not seated. Seating is limited.
