Math Boot Camp: Basic Training for K-5 Success

Are you ready to whip your math block into shape?

Join us for Math Boot Camp, an intensive, high-energy, one-day professional development experience designed specifically for K-5 educators. We are moving beyond rote memorization to explore the "why" behind the math, ensuring every student develops a deep, lasting number sense.

This isn’t your typical "sit and get" PD. You will be rolling up your sleeves to engage with the Indiana Academic Standards Mathematics Frameworks, getting hands-on with manipulatives, and mastering instructional strategies that foster student agency and mathematical flexibility.

What We’ll Cover:

• The Number Sense Core: Experience and make sense of high-leverage routines that build mental math skills and conceptual understanding from day one.
• Computation with Clarity: Move beyond there’s one way to solve all problems to explore strategies that prioritize place value, flexible thinking, and students’ ideas.
• Decoding the Frameworks: Learn how to navigate and utilize the Indiana IDOE Frameworks to align your instruction and assessment with state expectations.
• Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices: Walk away with a toolkit of research-based "High-Leverage Practices" that you can implement in your classroom tomorrow.

Once ready you will click the registration option for an ESC Member District or CIESC Member District to receive the discount.

Pay via Invoice

If you need to pay for your registration via invoice, you may do so by selecting your ticket and then choosing the invoice option at check out. Invoices will be sent upon completion of the event. 

Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made before the payment settles (usually within 24 hours) will be 100% refunded. Cancellations made 7 calendar days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 90% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days of the event will receive a 75% refund. Any cancellation made on the day of or after will NOT receive a refund.

Please note this event will be held in person. In the case of unforeseen circumstances (such as inclement weather or situations beyond our control), alternative arrangements will be considered. Thank you for your understanding and enthusiasm for our commitment to in-person engagement.
